Enjoying Melbourne...

We finished off our time in Melbourne with a walk along the river and a look at the Old Gaol and botanical gardens. We found a relatively cheap place to stay as we went to Greys Road in St Kilda...apparently it is the red light district road but we didn't notice much untoward and we weren't in a position to be very picky.

We bumped into Mike Husbands who I have played a few games of hockey with - very embarassingly I didn't recognise him at all - he was also in Melbourne on honeymoon.

Having booked our Sydney accomodation over the web on 29th Dec, off we flew on New Years Eve...my only regret is that we didn't see Ramsay Street!!
