Day 3 - MCG

Michelle couldn't wait to get back to the ground on day 3...we were a bit late...

Warne scored more runs that any Englishman and the pic is of him being clapped off at the end of the innings as the not out batsman....you'd have to zoom in a lot to know that though!

England played terribly and the Aussies bowled well...and the rest is history. I decided that if you can't beat them, join them and briefly joined the "Boony Army" - Australia's version of the Barmy Army. In fact, I didn't so much decide, as be told by the barwoman that I had to. Why? Because it was a Victoria Bitter promotion, and I'd drunk so much VB (not that I thought I had that much!)

Michelle is relieved that she doesn't have to go to the cricket until 2nd Jan now...I sold it as drinking in the sunshine, but she had to take wooly socks and a blanket with her to keep warm!
