Now in Bangalore...
...and enjoying the more cosmopolitan feel. We're off to a bar in a minute for example - it's like getting back to what we know really. Having said that Michelle ordered a chicken salad for lunch and it was too hot to eat!
Only downer is that we forgot to check if the TV worked before we paid for our room and it doesn't, so we'll just have to go to the bar to watch Pietersen and Collingwood slay Ireland at cricket (very optimistic considering we're only 89-3 right now).
Tomorrow I'm meeting "a work associate"(!) for lunch so Michelle is looking forward to doing lots of shopping - there are plenty of shops to choose from...

I don't think English batsmen are likely to "slay" anyone: at present (158-4 in 37th over) we're contriving to make moderate Irish bowling (goodish club level?) look almost impossible to score off: heaven help us when we play anyone with good bowlers. Nasser Hussain has just said that English fans are looking for a commanding performance against Ireland: some hope!
Hello Guys,
Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while - things have been really manic here as two passnegers fell off the ship (God knows how!) so we were searching for five hours in the pitch black. It's all taking it's toll now - being up for 40hrs solid really isn't to be recommended. They're ok now and that's the main thing. Anyway, I'm loving reading your blogs. I'm heading home in two weeks - when are you back?

Never under-rate Collingwood...while he's there we can get any score! He bats exactly like Bevan used to heaping the pressure on himself as he plays himself in but then almost always responding. Beginning to think that we need a change in the team though - I'd play Strauss instead of Bell and give Joyce a couple more chances. If he keeps looking scratchy and dropping simple catches then Strauss should open and Bopara can bat 3, Dalrymple or Plunkett at 7....
Ness - we're back 15th May. I suspect your passengers may have ben drunk?!?
