The NZ press...

When it comes to rugby the press are as bad as the Aussies. There's nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance when you are the best in the world I guess but what riles me a little is when the Kiwis refer to themselves as "Champions of the world" which they regularly do...what? You have to win the World Cup Final to be World Champions I'm afraid and the last time New Zealand did that was 1987! So since 1991 New Zealand haven't been World Champions but they don't seem to realise that!

With all their best players getting time off from competitive rugby at the moment to get ready for the World Cup I'm sure they will win this year, and at least then all the signs describing them as World Champions will be correct...
