Franz Joseph glacier

I was a little worried about the helicopeter ride up the top of the glacier but fortunately the driver went very slowly....it was great up there, although extremely bright which is why we look like we're blinking or winking...

Once again Michelle's shoes were deemed inappropriate so she had to borrow some snow boots which were too big! (I had some flimsy boat shoes bought for 5 dollars - less than 2 pounds - which let in the snow but they were deemed suitable unlike sandals).
