Erawan Waterfalls

We made it to the waterfalls much praised by Sarah in one of her comments on the blog...

They really were beautiful but best fun of all was swimming around in the pools at the foot of each one. There were some particularly large fish that also wanted to swim there too...they decided to nibble at us in each pool we went in! There were 7 waterfalls that you could swim in...we were too lazy to make it to number 7 so stopped at 5 and swam there, 4 and 3, before returning to the bottom. On the way we saw a model doing a photoshoot by waterfall 2 - unfortunately no one famous I don't think...

At pool 4 there was a natural slide made by the water smoothing the rock on it's way down...Michelle has a pic of me going down it but that can't be uploaded so you'll just have to trust me on that one...

We decided this was the best bit of the day above the bamboo rafting and the elephant riding - it's a tough life this travelling!
